The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Higher Education of São Tomé and Príncipe (MECCES-STP), in partnership with UNICEF, is conducting a comprehensive analysis of the education sector, covering all levels of education.
The 2019–2023 Education Policy Charter established strategic goals and priorities for the development of the education sector. After more than six years of implementation, it is necessary to carry out an in-depth analysis of the current state of the sector, gathering evidence to inform decisions on the adjustments and reforms to be adopted. This process aims to support the development of a new Education Policy Charter (CPE) for the 2026–2030 period, with a transformative approach aligned with the country’s needs.
The consultant will play a key role in strengthening the inclusion of children's rights in international climate governance by building capacity among regional negotiators and UNICEF staff, developing strategic reports and policy documents, and advocating for the integration of child resilience and protection into national climate policies.

The Engineer will ensure that all installations comply with safety standards, contractual agreements, and project timelines while addressing any challenges that may arise during execution.
As an Operations Officer ( Programme Effectiveness), the incumbent will be accountable for operations functions, facilitate change, provide risk informed, support implementation of UNICEF’s Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT), solution-focused analysis, advice and services and contribute to programme and management decisions for delivering results for children in specific operational contexts
