UNICEF Eastern and Southern Africa, HIV Section 2gether 4 SRHR programme is looking for a highly experienced HIV Specialist to support the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the UNICEF component of the 2gether for 4 SRHR Programme. The HIV Specialist will support the ESARO HIV section in realizing planned results of the 2gether 4 SRHR programme and strengthening data generation and utilization and M&E capacity in the ESA region.

The purpose of this assignment is to support the development and implementation of WASH accounts at an operational level. This includes overseeing the entire process from inception to the generation of final WASH accounts and related products. Key responsibilities involve organizing and facilitating meetings and workshops, developing implementation and data collection plans, collecting and preparing data, and using the WAPT for data import and mapping. Additionally, the role requires finalizing WASH accounts based on UNICEF/WHO/Government technical reviews, validating results, preparing various WASH accounts products, and promoting their use among national decision-makers. The assignment also involves documenting implementation processes, lessons learned, identifying regulatory gaps and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
UNICEF seeks to hire an experienced, results oriented national Individual consultant to assist UNICEF Lesotho Country Office with the review and update of the existing CPD framework and logbook, which are due for review after five years. This review will be informed by the 2022 CPD evaluation survey findings. The consultant will draft a revised CPD framework to ensure it aligns with emerging trends and meets the professional development needs of healthcare workers in Lesotho including Learning hub, online and offline learning and simulation centers. UNICEF, MOH and LNC will be sharing with the consultant materials necessary for this work.
