UNICEF is looking for a Gender Officer who will be responsible for identification of gender issues related to development of learning to earning pathways for youth with especial emphasis to young women in the targeted regions and support evidence-based and gender transformative approaches. She/he will support the program team in integrating gender equality in planning, programme management and monitoring, advocacy, and partnership building, as well as innovation and knowledge management through technical advice and direct engagement.
UNICEF is looking for three (3) professional Program Specialists who will oversee the implementation of a multi-sectoral program designed to support youth to pursue continued education, skilling, and earning pathways in the conflict-affected woredas in different regions of Ethiopia. The Specialist will ensure synergy across different sectors at UNICEF (Education, Nutrition, WASH, SBCC, and Social Policy), coordinate with partners (including the private sector), and monitor the progress to achieve the program’s objectives.
The Program Specialist will be stationed in one of the UNICEF offices at Semera, Bahirdar, or Mekelle.
