UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive international Consultant. The consultant is expected to work for 34 days spread over 6 months contract period. There will be 20 days of remote work and 14 days of travel to Kiribati (7 days) and Samoa (7 days). The consultant will provide technical advice on the development of Pacific positive masculinity frameworks and culturally appropriate male role model Initiatives in consultation and collaboration with adolescent boys. Additionally, the consultation will support the development of monitoring and evaluation processes for the Pacific Adolescent Boys Advisory group, in line with the UNICEF Gender and Adolescent Action Plan and UNICEF Pacific Gender & Adolescent Strategy.
The Child Protection Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the child protection programmes/projects through the application of theoretical and technical skills in researching, collecting, analyzing, and presenting technical programme information while learning organizational rules, regulations and procedures to support the development and formulation of the Child Protection Programme within the Country Programme and particularly where attention to social norms is particularly relevant
The UNICEF Pacific Multi- Country office is hiring a Driver/Messenger on fixed term appointment to be based in Tarawa field office in Kiribati. Under the supervision and guidance of the Administrative Associate in Kiribati, the Driver/Messenger is responsible for providing reliable and safe driving services, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol whilst ensuring compliance with local driving rules and regulations.
The overall purpose of the consultancy is to coordinate disability inclusion programming at the Malaysia Country Office (MCO) through the management of national partnerships and providing technical guidance to support the dual-track integration of disability inclusive approaches across programmatic work, operational functions and communications, including at the UN level.
