This, in turn, will contribute to the achievement of the outcome results of the Country Programme Document. The objective of these services is to manage finances within the UWR in accordance with the Financial Agreement and the Operational Manual for Program Implementation; to ensure compliance with budgetary procedures and payment processes within the UWR; to provide the necessary support to the Project Implementation Units (PIUs); and to compile and prepare the relevant budgetary and financial reports.
Education Cannot Wait (ECW) is looking for a highly motivated Programme Specialist (Safeguarding) to support and strengthen ECW’s safeguarding work across its global humanitarian education portfolio. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Chief of Education, the incumbent will play a critical role within the Programme Delivery and Quality Team, conducting Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) assessments of partner organizations, managing safeguarding incidents and concerns involving partners, and supporting safeguarding capacity-strengthening initiatives. Working closely with colleagues across the Programme Delivery and Quality, Finance, Risk & Operations, Evidence, Results and Reporting, and Partnerships, Advocacy and Resource Mobilization teams, the Programme Specialist will also engage with UNICEF colleagues through cross-divisional safeguarding forums and collaborate with ECW-funded partners to promote safe, accountable and child-centered programming.
