UNICEF Nepal country office is looking for experienced professional to provide technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the WASH programming process across Madhesh province (or the provinces covered by Janakpur Field Office).
The WASH Officer (NO-2), based in Hargeisa and reporting to the WASH Specialist, provides technical, operational and administrative support for the implementation of WASH programme activities. The role focuses on drinking water supply, sanitation infrastructure, and WASH hardware projects, while strengthening coordination with local authorities and ensuring quality, accountability and effective programme delivery across Somaliland.

Under the direct supervision and overall guidance of the Chief of WASH (level 5), the WASH Officer (P-2) is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, quality assurance, and timely delivery of high-quality reporting, documentation, and knowledge management products across a portfolio of donor-funded WASH programmes in Sudan. The position plays a critical role in strengthening programme monitoring, data management, results tracking, and evidence generation to ensure robust performance management, informed decision-making, and compliance with UNICEF and donor requirements
Accordingly, UNICEF seeks to engage a Multisectoral and WASH Data Management Specialist to design, deploy and maintain integrated data management solutions for WASH and related sectoral interventions at national and sub-national levels. The consultant will support the development of digital data collection tools, online and remote-access systems, geospatial analysis, interactive dashboards, visual reporting products and interoperable data export processes aligned with UNICEF-approved and government information systems. The assignment will also strengthen data quality, harmonization, secure data handling and practical use of program information for management, reporting, advocacy and donor engagement.
