Join UNICEF in the State of Palestine as a Warehouse Assistant and play a key role in supporting warehousing operations in Gaza. The position is responsible for inventory management, warehouse operations, and ensuring the timely and efficient handling of supplies in a complex and fast-paced emergency environment.
UNICEF supported the state governments to develop Sustainability Compacts and Action plans in response to the 2021 Sector-wide Sustainability Check (SWSC) findings. UNICEF has also supported the update of the WASH Information Management System (WASHIMS) to integrate climate resilience, sustainability, and gender equality indicators, and improved government capacity to report on WASH routinely on the WASHIMS. For the HOSI, UNICEF supported the government to engage in regional and global meetings hosted by the African Minister’s Council on Water and the Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) partnership. In 2026, the Government of Nigeria was also supported to engage in discussions WASH financing and meaningful youth engagement at the IRC WASH Systems Leadership Symposium in Kigali, and to advance the Water Compact in collaboration with the Nigeria Water Development Partner’s Group.
Building on these foundations, a systems strengthening consultant is required to support the federal and state governments to advance on the knowledge management and evidence generation, WASH service sustainability and the HOSI.
The consultancy will support analysis of the IOF 2025/26 dataset and preparation of a supplementary Nutrition chapter. The consultant will clean and process data; assess and document data quality; calculate agreed indicators using appropriate survey weights and complex-design methods; produce tables, confidence intervals, maps and equity-focused disaggregation; maintain an analysis logbook with syntax and decisions; and draft and finalise the report.
Under the supervision of the UNICEF Social Policy Specialist, the National Consultant will provide structured implementation support, field-level coordination and quality assurance for UNICEF-supported activities under the Joint Programme “Accelerating Agenda 2030 through Governance and Sustainable Growth – SDG2030BiH.” The assignment will cover eight selected local governments and relevant partner institutions, with a focus on strengthening and standardizing inclusive social services; improving linkages between local planning, costing, budgeting, financing and implementation; and supporting the development and application of sustainable financing approaches for selected social protection services and early childhood education and care.
The consultant will support the timely preparation, quality assurance and finalization of key partnership products, including an estimated 17 donor reports due by the end of December 2026, two annual reviews, donor engagement materials, funding proposals or concept notes, and related briefing and communication products for engagement with public and private sector partners, embassies and capital-level counterparts. The consultancy will also strengthen internal coordination by consolidating programme inputs, tracking reporting obligations and donor-specific requirements, supporting the 2027 reporting tracker and first-quarter reporting tools, and establishing a donor contact file to support accurate and well-documented partner engagement. By providing dedicated additional capacity for clearly defined outputs, the consultancy will enable UNICEF Ukraine to maintain timely, consistent and high-quality engagement with partners and stakeholders, while supporting effective stewardship of existing partnerships and the development of new funding opportunities.
