UNICEF Jayapura is looking for National Consultant to provide technical assistance to support the Papua office in support of quality implementation of the Early Childhood Development (ECD) programme in Sarmi, and in 6 districts under DFAT Phase 3.2 Programme in Papua Provinces, Indonesia.
1. To continue support national partners in assessment of the local development plans leveraging with the key pillars of DRR focusing on the rights and needs of children, including those with disabilities;
2. To continue strengthening school and community-based and child-centered emergency preparedness and response including Gender in Emergency, Non-structural School Safety, School DRM components and non-structural safety measures;
3. To ensure engagement of young volunteers, adolescent girls and boys in disaster risk-prone areas in school disaster preparedness and school safety through implementation of school-based interventions;
4. To support implementation of school and community-based preparedness and mitigation interventions focused on youth-led small-scale projects on climate change and DRR;
UNICEF Education Section is seeking an international consultant to lead the 2025 phase of the Inclusive Education Project in China. This phase aims to deepen the impact of inclusive practices through data-driven strategies, transformational leadership, partnerships, and international collaboration.
Under the supervision of the Chief, Education, the Education Officer (Pre-School / Early Childhood Education (ECE) provides technical, operational, and administrative support to the ECE programme, ensuring alignment with UNICEF’s strategic objectives, national priorities, and the emerging needs of children and families in Ukraine. This includes coordination in emergencies, strengthening ECE systems, supporting policy and curriculum development, and fostering innovative approaches to service delivery.
The purpose of this LTA is to provide support to the Quality Assurance process of UNICEF managed evaluations, assisting ESAR Regional Office and Country Offices to ensure that evaluations in the region meet the highest quality and ethical standards. In particular, it will support a more efficient and regionalized production of high-quality evidence that will feed into UNICEF programming and advocacy efforts, supporting the decision-makers to make informed choices and plan strategically. To this end, UNICEF seeks to establish a pool of LTAs with individual consultants to provide professional, practical, timely and constructive feedback on the range of evaluative products that ESA Regional Office and Country Offices manage and commission.
