The purpose of this consultancy is to strengthen UNICEF’s emergency preparedness, monitoring, and response capacity in Somalia’s Central and Southern Regions (CSS). The consultant will provide critical support in sustaining UNICEF’s field presence, coordinating humanitarian interventions, and ensuring timely, effective, and context-sensitive responses to emerging crises.
This role is essential to maintain UNICEF’s humanitarian engagement and operational continuity in hard-to-reach and newly recovered areas where access remains challenging. Undertake field support activities (remote and in country) to UNICEF francophone country offices (including but not limited to Mali, Chad, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Haiti, Niger, Democratic Republic of Congo) on payment recipients' personal data management function to process individual cash transfers, for families affected by humanitarian crisis and Frontline workers.
