To provide technical support to design, implement, and operationalize child-centered Early Warning Systems (EWS) in Nepal and Maldives. The focus will be on enhancing the resilience of children by conducting child-centered risk assessments, integrating the Children's Climate Risk Index (CCRI) Disaster Risk Management (DRM) frameworks, and developing climate-change-calibrated scenarios for targeted interventions.
The purpose of this assignment is to provide technical assistance to the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees and Migration (SCRM) related to the capacity building component in order to strengthen structured and systemic capacity building on migration issues in line with national legislation and strategic framework, as well as international migration standards. The consultant will work in close collaboration with the SCRM and provide technical assistance to strengthen the internal mechanisms for managing and further developing MTC capacity building function.
The Knowledge Management & Country Office Support Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving UNICEF’s innovation strategy and capacity building agenda by capturing, curating, and supporting the adoption and scale up of cutting-edge insights, best practices and lessons learned. This role will develop and manage dynamic knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen overall programmatic support to countries as well as foster partnerships with key local and global innovation partners. The Consultant will also identify high-impact funding opportunities, forge strategic partnerships with donors, private sector partners, academic institutions and development agencies, and craft compelling proposals that unlock new investments in innovation.
