Under the supervision of the Child Protection Specialist, Child Protection Section, the consultant will provide technical support and monitor the multiple implementing partners in the provinces through on-site, real-time activity guidance and technical support to ensure that activities are well harmonised and implemented to achieve the planned targets and results under the same result framework.
The consultancy will monitor and provide support to implementing partners on the ground (in the field) and provide the necessary technical guidance but also attend meetings with implementing partners in the field in schools and communities. The consultant will also serve as a broker, engaging with key gatekeepers and creating alignment on the work of different agencies operating in schools and those in communities.

Under the supervision of the HIV Officer in the Health and Nutrition section, the National Individual Consultant will develop high-quality standardised package of training materials and job aids for the Young Mentor Mothers (YMM) programme. The package will include standard operating procedures, training material, job aids, data collection tools and referral tools to other services.

The objective of this consultancy is to develop clear, actionable considerations to help CWGs in IASC/ Mixed and Refugee contexts interpret and implement the reference to social protection linkages in their Terms of Reference, in line with the cash coordination model and within the practical scope of CWG functions. CWG outside of IASC/ Mixed and Refugee contexts may also use this guidance to foster linkages between humanitarian and social protection interventions.

The consultant will support the implementation of UNICEF’s social protection component of the joint UN Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) programme, supported by the Government of Switzerland, and implemented jointly with UNDP, UNESCO and FAO, by strengthening disaster risk and protection planning capacities within the social protection sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), in line with shock-responsive social protection (SRSP) principles.
