UNICEF Sudan is seeking a WASH Specialist (NOC) to support the development, preparation, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the WASH programme within the country. The Specialist will provide technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes, to facilitate the administration and achievement of the WASH-related output results in the country programme.
This consultancy will primarily support the SACA-WG to undertake a systematic review of the literature on the relationship of adolescent body weight and morbidity and mortality.
Under the direct supervision of the Youth Engagement and Entrepreneurship Lead, with overall guidance from the Director of Programmes and in close collaboration with the Programme Team at UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited (GenU) and select Country Offices this consultancy role will coordinate the global implementation of imaGen Ventures while supporting the broader youth entrepreneurship portfolio within UNICEF’s GenU. This includes leading flagship initiatives like the Global Challenge and Global Incubation Week, as well as providing technical support to UNICEF Country Offices implementing youth entrepreneurship programmes. The consultant will act as the primary liaison for country offices, facilitating alignment with global strategies, managing key partnerships and contributing to the growth of related youth entrepreneurship programmes, including the Green Entrepreneurship component of Green Rising, health entrepreneurship initiatives, and AI-focused ventures. The role also involves developing innovative learning resources, refining incubation frameworks, and supporting effective data collection and impact measurement to enhance programme outcomes globally.
The consultant will support EOF’s team in relation to its ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) outcomes fund in South Africa, which is expected to launch in November 2025 and continue implementing until 2029.
The Consultant will provide technical advice in facilitating and quality assuring evaluations undertaken as part of the Safe Online targeted investment round on Evidence Generation for Sustainable and Scalable Impact in Combatting Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and work with the Safe Online Evaluation Advisory Group. S/he will technically support the implementation of MEL capacity development plan for Safe Online grantees. In addition, s/he will provide technical support on the execution of the Safe Online Strategy and portfolio evaluation, performance monitoring of key results and learning across the Safe Online portfolio.
