The objective of this Long-Term Agreement (LTA) is to provide ongoing strategic advisory services to Giga’s Country Engagement team, focusing on high-level government advocacy and private sector collaboration to accelerate school connectivity efforts. The consultants under this LTA will offer specialized support in engaging key ministers, promoting the adoption of Giga’s strategies, and facilitating government and private sector partnerships to scale school connectivity in priority countries.
The objective of this Long-Term Agreement (LTA) is to provide Giga with ongoing strategic advisory services focused on utilizing visual storytelling and artistic engagement to amplify its mission of connecting schools to the internet. Under this LTA, the selected consultants will help Giga leverage initiatives like Patchwork Kingdoms and Creating Connections to engage stakeholders, raise awareness, and secure funding that directly supports the expansion of school connectivity worldwide.
Being part of GSSC, the Strategic Business and Change Management Section (previously titled as Service Quality Management Section) works within with the Director’s Office guiding the strategic direction of the GSSC and its journey to Global Business Services (GBS), is responsible for strategic planning, change management, partnership engagement, UN reform, communications and branding It furthermore covers all internal GSSC quality assurance, productivity analysis, forecasting and chargeback support, performance, service level agreement (SLA) and key performance indicator (KPI) management, efficiency reporting and benefits realization.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Chief of Education, the programme associate supports the respective section (s) by carrying out a range of programme support functions to help develop, implement and monitor the country programme, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.
The Programme Associate works in close collaboration with a range of staff in the Country Office, external partners and agency counterparts in support of programme design and delivery. S/He provides regular feedback on the status of projects through monitoring milestones and advises on improvements to keep activities on track.
