The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Unit works closely with partners and stakeholders to strategically align HR with business needs. HRBPs invests their holistic knowledge of Human Resource Management to guide leadership, management and staff and provide them with sound, tailored, and coherent HR solution. The Health Officer provides professional technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the Health Programme within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results, by preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, and evaluating and reporting of results. He/she will provide technical assistance in the development of health work plans, ensuring alignment with national health goals and targets in conjunction with Child Survival and Development, Maternal and Child Health, Health, and Nutrition components within the country programme, to achieve the UNICEF's immunization plus goals and objectives for the country. As a key partner of in Primary Health Care Particularly Immunization UNICEF has the mandate to provide technical assistance to the country through advocacy, coordination, planning implementation, and monitoring of health programmes. The organization relies on highly trained and experienced personnel of staff and consultants to meet this obligation.
Plan, create, and curate social media content, maintain and update editorial calendars, collect and collate multimedia information from different departments.
- Monitor various sources for new content and information about what is happening in and around the UN related to child, adolescent and maternal health
- Create visuals, quote cards and other materials as requested using online tools (such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop).
- Acts as focal point on social media matters, monitoring and reporting on the latest trends and developments, responding to queries, and participating in monitoring and evaluation.
- Attend press conferences and events to gather quotes, take photos and videos which can be used in social media posts.
- Draft posts for Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Research trends and posts from partners and suggest retweets/reposts; monitor the social media accounts for followers' comments and questions.
- Research latest social media trends for the visualization and communication of child health related topics/issues; assist the Office of the Director’s team in researching iconography in the Office's image databases and online using the Office's photo library; research concepts for campaigns and introduce ideas through clear visual and verbal presentations; respond to requests for drafting posts and creating engaging visuals, graphics, videos for the Office's social media channels.
- Support UNGA, WHS, GHNM events with updates to social media on relevant topics and discussions.
