The Corporate Partnerships team continues to support the management of a growing and increasingly complex portfolio of high-value partnerships across 15 National Committees predominately, with support to Regions and Country Offices. Over the last year, having dedicated consultancy to support the US has proven critical for ensuring the PFP US Partnership Management team has been able to support over 17 high priority and international corporate partnerships.
In 2026, to maintain the support and leadership of the PFP Corporate Partnerships team, we require continued consultancy support across our portfolio to maximize income and non-financial value. The consultant will continue to sustain and build on the momentum achieved in 2025 and engage with the US, Canada and a number of other markets as we broaden out the remit of the position. The consultancy will additionally provide critical support for the launch of the Global Emergency Alliance in 2026 and advance our approach for engagement with the Financial Services industry.
The KM Specialist will be responsible for strengthening the KM Strategy to ensure 1) its activities meet the knowledge generation and sharing needs of the Polio SBC colleagues at HQ, regional, and country level, 2) the strategy is aligned with UNICEF’s Global Knowledge Management Strategy and 3) activities leverage any new approaches or tools available at UNICEF, which involves staying up to date with new approaches in KM, at UNICEF as well as connecting with other KM colleagues and polio SBC colleagues across UNICEF.
The fundamental mission of UNICEF is to promote the rights of every child, everywhere, in everything the organization does — in programs, in advocacy, and operations. The Global Programme Division (GPD) plays a central role in driving programme excellence across UNICEF. It provides global strategic leadership and policy direction, develops and monitors frameworks and standards, and ensures coherence and alignment across sectors, regions and partners. GPD generates high-impact, evidence-based solutions and serves as a hub of specialized expertise, offering technical guidance on policy reform and scalable programming. GPD leads UNICEF’s policies, standards and negotiations for programme, ensuring the organization’s assets and priorities are aligned with and contribute to child development goals. In addition, GPD strengthens country-level implementation through integrated technical support, linking global policy with on-the-ground action to deliver results for children at scale. As part of this structure, UNICEF has established Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to provide high-quality, demand-driven technical assistance to Country and Regional Offices, and their governments and partners. Located strategically in Nairobi, Panama, Amman and Bangkok, the CoEs bring together cross-cutting expertise across time zones. Global Programme Practices in CoEs function as a single point of entry for support, delivering tailored assistance in priority areas such as policy reform in matters that advance the wellbeing of children, at-scale programme design, public finance, workforce development and institutional strengthening, and timely humanitarian response while promoting resilient development. In so doing, the CoEs also contribute to global policy standards ensuring that UNICEF’s support is grounded in practical knowledge.
