This role will assist Ukraine UNICEF office to develop, implement and monitor effective and engaging programs on young people engagement and participation across sectors. Under the leadership of Chief ADAP Section the role will support the development and implementation and monitoring of youth participation strategies, partnerships management, and capacity building.
The social policy specialist will be responsible for deepening collaboration with key stakeholders, especially within the relevant ministries, and provide an interface for environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence within the scope of assignment. S/He may also serve as focal point and resource for colleagues on specific thematic areas of strategic relevance for partnership development. They will also be expected to coordinate, manage and plan activities/events in a systematic and organized manner; and lastly, manage an effective system for incoming information, including correspondence and decision memos.
The purpose of this assignment is to provide quality control and high-level technical guidance and support to the implementation of the Child Protection Case Management (CPCM) Framework in Rwanda. The international consultant shall work alongside the UNICEF Child Protection team and the NCDA to develop, facilitate and ensure technical quality with respect to the above-named priorities, including drafting documents. With respect to the Child Protection Information Management System (CP IMS), the international consultant will support the Government and CPWOs in daily usage of an interim IMS system as well as roll-out of the digital system once it is developed and adopted.

The GBV Officer will facilitate the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of UNICEF’s GBV-related prevention and mitigation strategies in South Sudan, ensuring overall efficiency, effectiveness, and achievement of results in compliance with both national and international standards, including UNICEF’s and IASC technical guidelines.
