The Education Research Unit at UNICEF Office of Strategy and Evidence – Innocenti is looking for a Research Specialist (Spanish speaking). This role will support implementation and coordination of research activities globally and will be the focal point for research in the Latin America and the Caribbean region (LAC). The research specialist will 1) provide research support to countries where Innocenti has research activities, including the development and uptake of research and evidence into programming, planning and policy. 2) support coordination and research activities for implementation research programmes with governments and country teams 3) act as a focal point for the education implementation research team for the Latin America and the Caribbean Region, supporting the coordination of key partnerships and programmes.

The research specialist will 1) provide research support to countries where Innocenti has research activities, including the development and uptake of research and evidence into programming, planning and policy. 2) support coordination and research activities for implementation research programmes with governments and country teams 3) act as a focal point for the education implementation research team for the Asia and South Pacific Region, supporting the coordination of key partnerships and programmes.
This position will contribute to the wider objective of strengthening data management and data use at country level as well as building capacity of national governments/immunization programmes to forecast demand and optimize supply chain processes as outlined above.

Brindar asistencia técnica para diseñar e implementar la estrategia integral de Gestión de Datos e Información del Programa Federal de Protección a la Niñez y Adolescencia (PFPNYA), garantizando la calidad, estandarización y trazabilidad de la información federal. Centrando el alcance en la estandarización de la Gestión Operativa, Definición de Registros y Reportes Federales, Calidad y Validación de la Información.
