Under the strategic guidance of the Education Specialist, the consultant will conduct an assessment followed by the development of a capacity building program for school directors, ensuring documenting and sustainability of the results to become integral part of the education system.
UNICEF Eswatini is looking for a consultant to finalise the design of a comprehensive disability grant and conduct a detailed costing analysis to accurately estimate the additional financial burdens faced by households with children with disabilities, ensuring that the grant is not only inclusive but also responsive to the unique needs of these households, particularly addressing the needs of children with disabilities.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Communication Specialist, the consultant will assist the UNICEF Refugee Response Office in Poland communication team in (1) development and production of multimedia content to increase media reach and visibility effectiveness, (2) web-related activities and (3) creating and integrating content creation strategy and plan into the RRO Communications Strategy, where relevant.
The role of the Content Creation and Multimedia Consultant will be crucial for supporting the office's communication efforts, with a focus on donor recognition, and visibility. The consultant will coordinate the content creation strategy and plan to promote the office’s ongoing work in the areas of education, child protection, health, and social and behaviour change.
To support education and employment of Ukrainian adolescents and youth (aged 10 to 24) inside and outside Ukraine, UNICEF developed a regional initiative – PATHWAYS – that aims to provide them with opportunities for continued education, skills building and a successful transition to employment. The three pathways are:
1. Access to and completion of formal secondary education and/or TVET: Support students to enroll and remain in secondary education or TVET, gaining critical knowledge and skills for their well-being and future employment.
2. First job opportunities: Partnering with private and public sectors to provide (paid) internships or apprenticeships for secondary school/TVET students in industries (including green jobs) that are aligned with adolescents’ professional aspirations to prepare them for their future transition to the labour market.
3. Flexible learning and upskilling: For youth currently in employment, create opportunities for additional skilling and/or continuation of their regular schooling while working
