The Market Research Manager, under the overall guidance and direction of the Chief of Audience and Market Insights, is accountable for managing market research projects, playing a key role in the formulation of UNICEF and PFP strategies, and ensuring the growth in the effective use of audience and market insight for hard-to-reach audiences.
The role holder is responsible for establishing research plans and overseeing work progress to ensure the achievement of goals according to plans, resource allocation, and strategies, and through collaboration that meets the requirements from the UNICEF Competency Framework as well as our organizational values.
The role holder will have shared responsibility for strategic recommendations for high value teams when delivering work that includes but is not limited to situation analysis, trends, brand tracking, audience quality, research that can support media plans, and measurement frameworks. Additionally, the role holder will have responsibilities in decision making concerning AMI funds and human resources that have a significant impact on hard-to-reach audience projects.
The incumbent will report directly to the Supply and Logistics Manager and provide technical support to Program sections, Operations, and field offices.
The Construction Specialist is responsible for providing technical guidance, operational support and coordination of construction activities throughout all stages of construction projects. The management of construction projects includes planning, designing, contracting, as well as overseeing and monitoring of construction works and public infrastructure projects on site. These projects include, but are not limited to, water supply systems, sanitation facilities, solar power installations, public healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and Early Childhood Development Centers.
Under the direct guidance of the Deputy Rep Operations, the incumbent manages the supply and logistics operations of a complex nature with significant impact on programme delivery, services, supply and logistic, processes and systems, requiring advanced professional technical mastery and expertise in support of operations and programme objectives. Accountable for effective planning, contracting, procurement of both supplies and services, distribution, inventory management of UNICEF's supplies, in support of the Country Programmes.
UNICEF is establishing a dedicated team to lead and develop UNISON, the organization’s Salesforce-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Recognizing the importance of nurturing and optimizing partnerships to ensure critical resourcing and support to its work, UNICEF rolled out UNISON globally for public and private partnership management. While the project phase comes to an end in December 2024, the UNISON team will continue to foster this ongoing change in the way the organization manages partnerships, working to increase uptake and systematic usage of UNISON across the spectrum of internal stakeholders and supporting the tool’s evolution. The goal is to maintain and manage all donor partner relationships on UNISON globally, driving revenue growth and promoting partnership knowledge-sharing and coordination; tracking income and pipeline funding, and enabling increased financial and non-financial support to drive results for children.
To provide technical support to the Government of Romania, particularly the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity and other stakeholders in using the national social protection system in situations of covariate shocks.
