The consultant will develop and collaborate on content development that showcases UNICEF’s climate action successes, lessons learnt, best practices and innovations that contribute to advancing UNICEF’s mission to protect children and secure their rights in the face of the climate crisis.
Additional expertise support and adequate coverage of the public information, digital communication and social media mobilization are needed under the new responsibility which is rapidly evolving.
Additional expertise, engagement and support under this new responsibility which is rapidly evolving due to the Pathfinding component and expansion of Pathfinding countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in particular the Office of the Special Representative will be required to further enhance expert capacity through a further period of at least six months service to support the Pathfinding initiative in the Office of the
SRSG and to expand engagement in particular with countries and partners in the MENA region.
The primary purpose of this consultancy is to lead and oversee the implementation of the existing health procurement action plan, ensuring that identified inefficiencies are addressed, procurement efficiencies are gained and monitored on an ongoing basis and savings are reinvested into the health sector. This information will be used by the Ministry of Health, the Central Medical Stores, the President’s Office of Finance and Planning, the Zanzibar Public Procurement and Disposal Authority, the Zanzibar Food and Drugs Authority, and the Zanzibar Health Services Fund to strengthen the procurement ecosystem.
This assignment is focused on creating a strategic and regulatory framework that strengthens the coordination and effectiveness of career guidance services. By providing technical support to the Office for Dual Education and NQF, the Senior Advisor will contribute to building a sustainable career guidance system that promotes employability, skill development, and lifelong learning.
The purpose of this assignment is to ensure that career guidance and counselling services across sectors are strategically aligned, effectively coordinated, and accessible to all young people. The advisor will play a central role in developing methodologies, analyses, and indicators that track the impact of career guidance programs, and in proposing new projects to advance career services and policies. Additionally, the advisor will ensure the alignment of services with NQF policies and support the Office for Dual Education in establishing a holistic, cross-sectoral approach to career guidance and counselling.
