Cote d'Ivoire Country office is looking for a Chief of Communication who will be accountable for developing, managing, co-ordinating, networking, implementing and monitoring an advocacy and communication strategy and associated products and activities on on-going basis with public audiences, with the objective of promoting awareness, understanding, support and respect for children’s and women’s rights, and support for UNICEF's mission, priorities and programmes in Cote d'Ivoire, and at a global level and those of the UN Country Team.
The Legal Affairs Specialist will give recommendations and advice on a wide range of organizational activities and interests, and concern, among other things, the interaction of UNICEF with governments, commercial service providers and other key partners as well as on strategic initiatives across UNICEF. This support helps UNICEF to take advantage of opportunities as well as safeguard the organization from risk. The Legal Team aims to identify and mitigate exposure to potential liability and financial loss, to safeguard the ability of the organization to be accountable to its stakeholders, and to preserve credibility as well as funding from member states and other donors, both public and private.
The consultant will support the PCO immunization team, DOH, LGUs and other partners in project implementation and contribute to CPC9 Output 1.1 indicators to reach the goal of improving child survival through strengthening of routine immunization. To provide technical oversight and guidance, UNICEF Philippines needs to recruit qualified consultants to effectively carry out these tasks to support the health team.
