The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist is a member of the FCSE Management Unit reporting to a Head of Unit/Coordinator of the Education Sector Common Fund. The role is the responsibility of the FCSE Field Unit Coordinator for supervision. The Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the FCSE by implementing a variety of technical and administrative tasks to assist with the planning, implementation, execution monitoring planning and reporting of the evaluation process to ensure that evaluations are completed in accordance with the planned timeline and that the results and recommendations are implemented and monitored.
Under the direct supervision of the Representative, the Coordinator serves as the team leader, ensuring strategic coordination with Technical and Financial Partners (TFPs), CAMOS, institutional system bodies, and management of the I&D/Proman consulting firm, working alongside AFD and Switzerland.

The Deputy Coordinator will assist the PMU Coordinator in overseeing the strategic, technical, and operational management of GPE funds within the country’s education sector. This includes ensuring robust project planning, financial management, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. The Deputy Coordinator will support effective coordination among stakeholders and ensure the alignment of the program with national priorities and international standards.
Joint UNICEF as an Advocacy Officer in Brasília. You will contribute to the Communication Section, in achieving UNICEF´s main goals by using communication and advocacy strategies to mobilize citizens, influence decision makers, and engage the private sector to take action for children. You will play a key role providing professional technical and operational assistance throughout the advocacy and communication strategies to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.

You’ll be responsible for monitoring progress, achieving results, and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to advance outcomes for the most vulnerable children and adolescents. Your work will focus on impactful advocacy tactics, including media engagement, evidence generation and dissemination, and direct engagement with public sector partners.
