UNICEF is seeking qualified expert to assess school nutrition policies, interventions, and programmes in a selected number of schools across the country; provide technical support to the Ministry of Health and or Ministry of Education in Uzbekistan for the drafting of school food policy briefs and advocacy materials for improving the school food environment, and provide actionable recommendations to improve School feeding/school food environment.
The national consultant is expected to support the international consultant to develop a parenting curriculum (manual for kindergarten teachers and toolkit for parents), support delivery of training of trainers (ToT) and supervision sessions to a group of kindergarten teachers. In collaboration with specialists of the Preschool Department of the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Preschool and Primary Education Department of the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan (NIET), the national consultant is also expected to deliver capacity building trainings to kindergarten teachers in Ashgabat, Arkadag and all velayats.
