We're seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to elevate the user experience, ensuring the platform is intuitive, engaging, and accessible. The designer will collaborate closely with the product team to bring the platform's vision to life.
We are seeking a consultant to lead a technology team in developing AI-driven solutions for creating accessible digital content for children, with a focus on compliance with accessibility standards. The role includes providing technical support for digital learning programs and building capacity at global, regional, and national levels for the Accessible Digital Textbooks (ADT) initiative and other EdTech solutions. The consultant will collaborate with UNICEF's Global Office of Research and Foresight to create knowledge products, including user testing and lessons learned. Additionally, they will contribute to strategy development and partnerships with external organizations involved in ADT implementation. This position is pivotal in advancing inclusive education initiatives.
The new country programme will start in March 2025 and end in December 2029. The country office needs a resource mobilisation and leveraging strategy and implementation plan to support raising funds for programmes and leveraging resources for children. An international consultant is needed to support the country in developing a forward-thinking strategy and an action plan, with concrete, actionable recommendations, including a number of workflow and trend analyses, that will enable the country to raise more effectively funds for the new country programme.
The objective of this assignment is to support UNICEF Rwanda’s resource mobilization by developing a comprehensive strategy that analyzes the country's development partnership landscape, the trends of development partners’ contributions to UNICEF and to the country’s social development sectors, and the public and private sectors' investment in children in the past years in development and humanitarian assistance. This would be done by analyzing organizations competing with UNICEF over funds and analyzing UNICEF Rwanda’s value proposition or competitive advantage.
The output will be a resource mobilization and leveraging strategic document and an action plan for the 2025-2029 Country Programme. This would enable the office to raise sufficient funds for its programme and support the country in leveraging more resources for children.
