The United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) Mali is seeking the support of a qualified Child Protection Specialist with a strong knowledge of Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism of grave child rights violations. To this end, the Child Protection Specialist will provide support related to UNICEF Mali country office’s obligations and commitments in relation to SCR 1612 (2005).
The Child Protection Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for child protection programmes/projects within the Country Programme from development planning to delivery of results. H/She prepares, executes, manages, and implements a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
The Health Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process through the application of theoretical and technical skills in researching, collecting, analyzing, and presenting technical programme information while learning organizational rules, regulations and procedures to support the development and formulation of the Health Programme within the Country Programme.
The main objective of this consultancy is to provide support and technical assistance to UNICEF team to accelerate the results of Pode Falar initiative in Brazil, taking into account the different components of this initiative.
The consultant will be responsible for proposing recommendations to consolidate the project and support UNICEF officers to maintain a strengthened network of partners on adolescents’ mental health.
