UNICEF's Office of Innovation is looking for a dedicated Innovation Manager who serves as a critical link between UNICEF country offices, Regional Offices, and the Office of Innovation (OOI) at headquarters, facilitating a dynamic exchange of ideas, strategies and resources.
Join UNICEF as a Staff Counsellor and become an integral part of our mission to support those who support children worldwide. In this pivotal role, you'll provide essential mental health services and develop innovative wellbeing programs for our global team members, particularly those working in challenging multicultural environments across our headquarters in New York and Istanbul. As a seasoned mental health professional with experience in humanitarian settings, you'll have the unique opportunity to strengthen UNICEF's commitment to staff wellness while contributing to the broader UN Mental Health Strategy. Your expertise will help create a more resilient, balanced, and emotionally healthy workplace, enabling our teams to maximize their impact on children's lives globally.
UNICEF Zambia is currently hiring a consultant to review implementation modalities and progress of the Single Window Initiative across the different single window districts.
Overall purpose of the assignment is to facilitate the reform of the child disability assessment and referral to be in line with the provisions of CRC, CRPD and International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (WHO), moving away from medical assessment to rights-based approach, focusing on assessment of functions and required community-based services for a child and a family as a whole. More specifically, the consultant will provide technical expertise for the reform of child disability assessment and referral to multisector stakeholders in selected Cantons of FBiH and Republika Srpska.
The purpose of this job is to provide overall support across the team’s strategy, which is “Connecting the Field with the Private Sector”. UNICEF is a large and decentralized organization, with a complex structure of HQ, Regional Offices, Country Offices, and National Committees. The dialogue between all of these parties is critical to successful partnerships, but the ways in which they are currently achieved could be streamlined and more strategic. The Programme Officer will contribute to the efforts of UNICEF’s Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) Division by supporting research and analysis for effective private sector engagement, contributing to capacity building initiatives, and facilitating knowledge management and internal communications within the organization.
