The Government of the Philippines has put in place the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) which adopts a multi-sectoral nutrition approach to deliver a coordinated package of nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions, and to improve key behaviours and practices known to reduce stunting across 235 municipalities of the country. The project aims to address malnutrition by establishing geographic convergence, investing in supply-side and demand-side interventions, incentivising the achievement of nutrition results at the Local Government Unit (LGU) level, and emphasising equity to improve the country's overall nutrition and health outcomes.
UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive local Consultant for Samoa. The purpose of this assignment is to enhance the understanding of the rights of persons with disabilities among key national stakeholders, such as participating UN organizations, government stakeholders, OPDs, and civil society, and additional stakeholders, such as development partners. In doing so, the capacities to implement disability inclusive development approaches in the country and region are strengthened.
UNICEF would like to engage the services of writers / Designers for documenting UNICEF activities and programmes for different audiences such as the general public, donors, supporters and partners.
UNICEF would like to engage consultants to provide simultaneous interpretation services and writing translation for UNICEF WCARO, ensuring clear and accurate translation (French to English and English to French) enabling accurate translations of various documents, effective communication during meetings, conferences, and events as well as facilitating communication with stakeholders, partners, and donors across the region.
The HR Officer reports to the Chief of HR for close guidance, training and supervision. The Officer provides support to the supervisor and colleagues in the unit by
executing HR services through applying knowledge of theoretical HR models, as well as
understanding of organizational HR policies and procedures.
