UNICEF Country Office Pakistan is seeking a highly experienced, knowledgeable, and dynamic individual to take on the role of Coordinator (HPV vaccine introduction strategy) at the NOC level to join the Health team on a Temporary Appointment.

Under the guidance of the Nutrition Specialist and in coordination with UNICEF Headquarters and relevant Country Offices (COs) in the LAC region, the consultant will provide technical expertise to strengthen UNICEF’s efforts in the prevention and management of wasting. The consultant will also contribute to regional knowledge exchange and capacity development ensuring alignment with global frameworks.
This position is with the Treasury and Structured Finance (TSF) Section under the Division of Finance and Administrative Management (DFAM), reporting to the Finance Officer – Banking and Payment Solutions Unit. The DFAM's overall objective is to ensure that financial resources are fully attributed to the Strategic Plan results chain, made available in a timely manner, and used effectively and efficiently within an optimized organizational structure which is ‘fit for purpose’.
Focusing on trends and recurring challenges, the outcome of this consultancy will better inform UNICEF’s capacity to support the delivery of quality programming in humanitarian settings as defined in the CCCs. It will seek to make recommendations regarding required capacity and system changes and accountabilities amongst HQ divisions, and vis-à-vis regional and country offices to better ensure predictable, timely, and high-quality programme support.
This work is critical to ensuring that UNICEF’s humanitarian interventions continue to save lives, alleviate suffering, and support long-term recovery and resilience for the most vulnerable populations affected by crises.
