UNICEF Angola Country Office is looking for a technically capable Technology for Development Officer who under the direct supervision of Deputy Representative- Operations would be working closely with program, partners and government counterparts and will lead the country office in advancement of the overall Digital Transformation agenda of the office.
The post supervises one GS ICT associate.
The Programme Officer (Procurement Services) provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the health and other programmes within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results, by preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, and evaluating and reporting of results. This will be completed with a lens of systems strengthening within the context of seeking to leverage the government’s domestic resources.
The consultancy assignment is to support the management and implementation of two online platforms/communities of practice. The consultancy will be managed by UNICEF’s Adolescent Development and Participation (ADAP) team, in close collaboration with Health, Metal Health, Education and DAPM colleagues.
The Temporary position is based in Kigoma, under the general supervision of the Chief of Field Office, Kigoma. The selected candidate will be required to perform a variety of Operation, and administrative tasks in the Field Office including support to the programme teams.
