UNICEF is a global leader in advocating for the rights and wellbeing of every child, and it relies heavily on its dedicated staff and partnerships to achieve its mission. The Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) division, based in Geneva, is responsible for private-sector fundraising, engagement, and partnerships, playing a crucial role in generating resources to support UNICEF’s work.
To enhance the efficiency, retention, and career development of its staff, UNICEF Geneva aims to improve and formalize the career development pathways within PFP and other related Divisions, specifically the Division of Global Communication and Advocacy (DGCA), Public Partnerships Division (PPD) and Generation Unlimited (Gen U). These four Divisions collectively form the Partnership Cone, which coordinates fundraising, advocacy, and public-private partnerships to support UNICEF’s goals.
As part of UNICEF’s ongoing efforts to support staff development and build a more effective organization, a comprehensive approach to career path development within the Partnership Cone is critical. Therefore, UNICEF is seeking a consultant to conduct research and propose structured career paths, helping align staff growth with organizational needs and long-term goals.
The consultant will develop reports on data analysis and produce data products based on data collection and visualization as per programme requirements.
UNICEF is seeking a dedicated and proactive consultant to continue UNICEF’s analysis of climate and environmental policies, maintain existing data platforms and expand outreach and communication through engagements with key stakeholders, including organizational partners, children, and young people.
The Public Partnerships Division’s International Financial Institutions Team supports UNICEF’s work by managing partnerships with International Financial Institutions including the World Bank Group, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and Regional Development Banks, some of UNICEF’s most important and multi-faceted external partnerships.
UNICEF is scaling up its partnerships with IFIs – resulting in strategic and operational partnerships in every region in over 50 countries as well as mobilizing over $1 billion in resources annually. This consultancy will support the expanding work of the PPD IFIs team, by providing strategic partnership and IFI expertise to refine UNICEF’s engagement.
The Digital Strategy Section at the Division of Communication & Advocacy seeks to hire a Digital Web Producing Consultant to provide production support of website pages in five languages, and to support quality assurance and testing on platform features, throughout the UNICEF.org digital ecosystem.
