As part of a global study on the impact of public debt on children, UNICEF Ghana seeks to engage a highly qualified and experienced individual consultant to conduct a comprehensive analysis of how debt affects the wellbeing and development of children in Ghana. The country research seeks to (i) outline the debt and economic context in Ghana, (ii) identify the impacts of the debt, ODA and economic crisis on children in as real a way as possible, (iii) explain the political economy drivers of these impacts, and (iv) develop national recommendations for action. The analysis on Ghana will form part of the case studies contributing to the Global Report, led by UNICEF Headquarters.
