PROPÓSITO DE LA CONSULTORÍA
Tomando como guía las orientaciones elaboradas por UNICEF a nivel global respecto al proceso de planificación (Country Programme Planning)1, se espera que el consultor/a realice la síntesis de evidencia, correspondiente al primer paso de dicho proceso, asistiendo a la oficina de UNICEF Chile en la identificación de privaciones, cuellos de botella y priorización estratégica que oriente la preparación del próximo ciclo de Programa País CPD (2027-2030), con base en el Análisis de la situación de la niñez y adolescencia en Chile - SITAN 2025 y actualización de información estadística relevante (ELPI IV Ronda, Casen 2024, Censo 2024).
The consultancy will address these gaps by strengthening national learning and skills assessment practices across South Asia so that they provide a reliable foundation for system accountability, inform classroom practice, and remain relevant in development and emergency contexts.

Provide technical support to EOF for the delivery of EOF’s Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Outcomes Fund in South Africa. The Programme Consultant - South Africa will support EOF's team with engagements with implementing partners, providing support to solve implementation challenges and ensure smooth technical and operational delivery. The consultant will also provide support and guidance on the programs’ policy alignment and integration of learning into broader systemic change.
The Social & Economic Policy (SEP) unit at UNICEF Innocenti - Global Office of Research and Foresight is establishing a Roster of Consultants with pre-qualified candidates who can be contracted quickly to provide a range of research services. These may include quantitative or qualitative data collection activities, data analysis (quantitative and/or qualitative), literature reviews, writing research outputs such as reports, briefs or academic articles, amongst others.
