Under the overall supervision of the Programme Specialist (UNICEF) with day-to-day supervision by the Youth Environment Living Labs (YELL) Manager, this internship is to support the daily tasks that are essential towards the execution of YELL’s programmes.
UNICEF Kazakhstan Country Office is looking for Youth Engagement Consultant. The Youth Engagement Consultant is a critical role in the day-to-day coordination of local volunteers across various cities in Kazakhstan. This requires on-the-ground presence and deep local knowledge, which is essential for effective volunteer engagement, training, and support. The Youth Engagement Consultant works closely with local governments, NGOs, youth organizations, and other stakeholders at the regional level. This role requires frequent communication, relationship-building, and support for regional partnerships, which is often more effective when handled by someone embedded in the local context. The role demands ongoing, long-term commitment to ensure the sustainability and growth of the volunteering program in each region.
DFAM ensures financial resources are efficiently allocated, timely, and effectively utilized within an optimized structure. This is achieved through performance measurement, transparent reporting, and risk-informed policies.The TSF Section manages relationships with Financial Service Providers (FSPs), ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations, including KYC and international sanctions. It also enhances efficiency, transparency, and UNICEF’s digital financial transformation across Programmes, Fundraising, and Operations.This position within DFAM focuses on identifying and mitigating financial counterparty risks, collaborating with the TSF Section, DFAM Treasury, and global offices to safeguard UNICEF’s financial operations.
The consultant will conduct the Formative assessment of Adolescent and youth wellbeing and empowerment model being implemented through 4 Adolescent centers in 3 provinces of Kermanshah, Isfahan and Mashhad since 2023.
