Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisor, the programme associate supports the respective section (s) by carrying out a range of programme support functions to help develop, implement and monitor their country programme, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.
The Programme Associate works in close collaboration with a range of staff in the CO, external partners and agency counterparts in support of programme design and delivery. S/He provides regular feedback on the status of projects through monitoring milestones and advises on improvements to keep activities on track.
To conduct secondary analysis of the data generated by the study on violence against children in school setting in Tunisia and draft four research papers.
A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen within UNICEF Zimbabwe's Communication, Advocacy, and Partnerships section. The Chief Communication, Advocacy, and Partnerships is responsible for developing, managing, co-ordinating, networking, implementing and monitoring an advocacy and communication strategy and associated products and activities on a regular and ongoing basis with public audiences, with the objective of promoting awareness, understanding, support, and respect for children’s and women’s rights and support for UNICEF's mission, priorities, and programmes in the country office and at a global level and those of the UN Country Team. Advice on the articulation of policies and strategies, with an emphasis on those that promote gender equality and equity.
The Social Policy Officer (Cash Transfers) will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of the various cash transfer programmes implemented by UNICEF Ukraine, including multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), cash-for-winterization assistance, and complementary social protection programming in form of ‘top-ups’. It is also assumed that this position will act as the Deputy Lead/Head of the HCT team (when needed). The Social Policy Officer (Cash Transfers) will be an integral part of the Humanitarian Cash Transfer (HCT) team and will positively contribute to the provision of much-needed cash assistance to vulnerable households with children in need of basic assistance, seasonal and complementary sectoral cash support.
