The CPHA Team continually seeks to strengthen the evidence and data in all areas of Child Protection programming, and is committed to monitoring, evaluation, and results-based management. UNICEF Karachi Pakistan is seeking a highly experienced, seasoned, and dynamic individual to take on the role of Education Specialist to join the Education Team on a fixed-term basis in the Karachi Office.
UNICEF Malawi will establish a Long Term Agreement with an individual consultant to provide technical support and engineering expertise on-demand for the design, review, validation, and oversight of rural WASH infrastructure in Malawi. The consultant will support UNICEF Malawi on an as-and-when-required basis in ensuring that all WASH infrastructure designs—particularly solar-powered water supply systems and WASH facilities in schools, healthcare facilities, and other institutions—meet national guidelines and UNICEF standards for sustainability, safety, equity, and climate resilience. In addition, the consultant will provide advisory services and technical capacity-building to UNICEF partners, including government institutions and NGOs, to strengthen national systems and support effective implementation of WASH infrastructure across the country.
The overall goal is to further support the integration of climate change mitigation and adaptation and environmental issues into the education system. The purpose of the consultancy is to build the capacity of local experts in green school standards conceptualization and its roll out in Kazakhstan. This consultancy aims to guide the established technical working group in developing standards and self-assessment tools for green schools and capacities for implementation nationwide.
