The Education Specialist position is required on temporary appointment, to continue technical support to the Ministry of Education on planning, monitoring and reporting of results with a focus on programmes funded by the GPE. The incumbent will also support planning and implementation of key interventions under the national foundational learning strategy, including remedial education, and inclusion of children with disability.
Under the direct supervision of Chief Education, the Education Specialist will work with the Education Section team and government partners, most notably the Ministry of Education and Rwanda Basic Education Board, that leads implementation of GPE funded programmes.

The Child Rights in Business Consultant’s key function will include supporting the Country Office in development of the expansion strategy and targeting the biggest companies with tailored pitches and proposals with integration of child rights approach. This consultancy will support MoH in updating community case definitions, developing a structured case notification protocol, and strengthening reporting from communities to health facilities. It will also lead capacity-building for healthcare workers in Mukono, Wakiso, and Kampala while collaborating with MoH and leveraging Living Goods to integrate Community-Based Surveillance (CBS) indicators into eCHIS.
