As an Operations Officer ( Programme Effectiveness), the incumbent will be accountable for operations functions, facilitate change, provide risk informed, support implementation of UNICEF’s Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT), solution-focused analysis, advice and services and contribute to programme and management decisions for delivering results for children in specific operational contexts
The consultant will be responsible for the implementation of the GBV programme. S/he will undertake the organization and facilitation of capacity building initiatives, monitoring and consultations with UNICEF partners and beneficiaries until the GBV Specialist (NOB) is recruited, expected to be finalized by January 2025.
This consultancy seeks a national consultant to work for UNICEF Sri Lanka in close support of the Ministry of Education and other partners to provide technical support that helps advance: 1) developing the Climate Resilient Education Framework and 2) designing, testing, monitoring and documenting the pilot programme on Climate Smart Schools to inform further improvements to the Framework.

There will be 20 days of remote work and 14 days of travel to Kiribati (7 days) and Samoa (7 days). The consultant will provide technical advice on the development of Pacific positive masculinity frameworks and culturally appropriate male role model Initiatives in consultation and collaboration with adolescent boys. Additionally, the consultation will support the development of monitoring and evaluation processes for the Pacific Adolescent Boys Advisory group, in line with the UNICEF Gender and Adolescent Action Plan and UNICEF Pacific Gender & Adolescent Strategy.
