UNICEF Gambia Country Office is looking for a passionate and highly motivated individual to join our team as Partnerships Manager. The Partnerships Manager supports the Representative to push the fundraising agenda and ensure that risks to the country programme funding are mitigated. This position is critical in ensuring that the office’s communication strategy and fundraising plans are developed, implemented and monitored to ensure sustained funding. Partnerships would also be strengthened through this position.
The Consultant will conduct a thorough review and update of UNICEF’s Human Resources policies to ensure they are fully aligned with the most recent revisions to the UNICEF Regulatory Framework, which came into effect on 1 July 2024. This process will include identifying any gaps or inconsistencies between the existing policies and the updated framework, as well as recommending any necessary adjustments to enhance compliance and effectiveness.

The Curriculum, Instruction and EdTech consultancy will be part-time (3 days per week) and will be working remotely. The intended duration of the assignment is four months. There is expected to be one, two week visit to Cox’s Bazar in January 2025.
Depuis sa création en 2010 à la suite du tremblement de terre du 12 Janvier 2010 suivi du déclenchement de l'épidémie de choléra en Octobre 2010, le Département de Réponse aux Urgences (DRU) fait face à des difficultés énormes tant sur le plan des ressources humaines, matérielles que financières. Ces contraintes diminuent la capacité du DRU à préparer et coordonner la réponse du secteur aux urgences.
Malgré les récents efforts et progrès constatés ces dernières années, des lacunes persistent encore. D’où l’intérêt de l’UNICEF d’apporter une assistance technique en termes de renforcement institutionnel au DRU.
