Le Gouvernement du Bénin, avec l’appui du Partenariat Mondial pour l’Éducation (PME), met en œuvre le Programme
WEZIZA ÉDUC, dont l’objectif global est de transformer le système éducatif en améliorant l’accès, la qualité, le
maintien et l’équité, en particulier pour les filles du primaire et du 1er cycle du secondaire général. La Composante 2
du programme, intitulée « Accélération de l’éducation et du bien-être des filles », cible de manière spécifique les défis
sociaux, économiques, sanitaires et psychosociaux qui entravent l’éducation continue des filles.
Under the supervision of the Chief of Child Protection and in close collaboration with relevant programme sections and field offices, the Programme Officer supports the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Selo UNICEF and Agenda Cidade UNICEF initiatives.
En el marco del Programa de Cooperación entre el Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia y UNICEF, la agenda de financiamiento para la niñez constituye una prioridad estratégica para fortalecer la calidad del gasto público y promover una mayor asignación de recursos destinados al cumplimiento de los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes. Esta agenda comprende el desarrollo de metodologías para la identificación de la inversión pública,
la actualización periódica de estudios de inversión, el fortalecimiento de capacidades de los gobiernos subnacionales, la generación de evidencia para la incidencia en políticas públicas y la articulación con instituciones nacionales y territoriales responsables de la planificación y las finanzas públicas.
This consultancy will contribute to the identification, development, and management of partnership and fundraising opportunities, support donor engagement and proposal development, and facilitate the implementation of priority partnership initiatives and events.
The Caribbean is highly vulnerable to natural disasters and climate-related hazards that can disrupt education, damage school infrastructure, and affect learning continuity. To address these risks, CDEMA, with support from UNICEF, developed the online Safe Schools: Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience course to strengthen school safety and disaster preparedness among education professionals.
Building on the success of the online course, this initiative aims to develop a competency-based, face-to-face training programme that emphasizes practical skills, peer learning, and school-level action planning. The resulting training package will serve as a standardized regional resource that can be adapted and delivered by Ministries of Education and other institutions to strengthen the resilience and preparedness of education systems across the Caribbean.
