Reporting to the Deputy Representative, the Chief Child Survival and Development (CSD) is responsible for leading UNICEF Iraq’s efforts to improve child survival and development outcomes through the strategic integration of Health, Nutrition, and WASH programming.
The position is situated in the Procurement Services Accounting and Reporting, Accounting Unit (PSARU) of the Financial Management and Administrative Centre in UNICEF's Supply Division. PSARU is responsible for financial management of GAVI and Procurement Services Partners’ procurement services operations focused on procurement of vaccines and vaccine-related supplies for GAVI eligible and Procurement Services countries.
The Programme Associate, GS-6, based in Hargeisa and reporting to the WASH Specialist, provides technical, operational and administrative support for the implementation of WASH programme activities. The role focuses on drinking water supply, sanitation infrastructure, and WASH hardware projects, while strengthening coordination with local authorities and ensuring quality, accountability and effective programme delivery across Somaliland.
The Disability Inclusion Consultant supports the integration of disability inclusion across the Government of Ukraine’s social protection reforms led by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family. The Consultant provides high-level policy advice and technical leadership to ensure reforms are inclusive by design covering strategies, legislation, financing, delivery systems, data/monitoring, accountability, interagency coordination, and managing/overseeing national experts working on specific reform deliverables.
The Consultant maintains a dotted reporting line to the Deputy Representative (Programmes) to strengthen UNICEF’s internal capacity in disability inclusion.
