UNICEF PLF seeks a Data & Analytics Consultant to provide technical support for targeted data collection, data management, analysis, and reporting-related analytics, ensuring timely, high-quality datasets and analytical products that inform decision making, advocacy, accountability, and Secretariat-led reporting processes.
The Construction Officer is responsible for providing technical support to construction activities at the Country Office level, including planning, support to procurement, and monitoring of construction works on site. The position supports the preparation of design and technical documents, assists procurement processes, and ensures effective monitoring of construction projects in compliance with UNICEF norms and standards. The Construction Officer collaborates closely with Programme and Operations sections and coordinates with government counterparts to ensure construction interventions meet programmatic needs and contribute to results for children.
The consultancy will support the broader ADAP and youth initiatives for Timor-Leste CO, including mental health awareness, referral systems at schools and Youth Centers, development and implementation of the Climate Change Adaptation Module for youth, and its integration into the Youth Parliament Programme. He will also support Hackathons for social impact innovation, the UPSHIFT initiative on green skills and livelihoods, and training on the rights of persons with disabilities with ADTL. Additionally, activities will target 13 youth associations to enhance institutional capacity and leadership in selected municipalities, along with activities under the Youth Parliament Programme and capacity-building for Youth Centers. The consultant will also provide strategic leadership for ADAP and Youth Programming, coordinating across sections within UNICEF.
The Education Specialist will ensure the seamless programme, coordination, implementation, monitoring and reporting of UNICEF’s European Union Funded “Last Mile Connectivity of Schools”, the Dutch Funded “PROSPECTS” Integrated Projects, and will lead climate-resilient education system-related technical assistance and implementation. This will be done in close collaboration with other programme sections in UNICEF Kenya Country Office (including Innovation, Child Protection, WASH and Social Policy), respective field offices and involved partners.
