Help shape how technology enables UNICEF's work across the Caribbean. Join UNICEF's Multi-Country Office for the Caribbean as a Digital Impact Officer (ICT) and help strengthen digital systems and services across the sub-region. You will drive standardization of systems, strengthening digital workflows, and support business continuity and operational efficiency across the MCO.
The purpose of the consultancy is to support UNICEF in designing and facilitating a participatory process that will result in:
• A concise, realistic, measurable, and prioritized Pulse Survey action plan;
• Clear implementation arrangements and timeline for each agreed action;
• Defined roles and accountabilities across People and Culture, Management, the Staff Association, staff representatives, and other action owners;
• A practical monitoring and reporting framework;
• An initial implementation roadmap that enables agreed actions to move from planning to execution.
The consultancy will help ensure that staff feedback is appropriately analysed, discussed, prioritized, and translated into actions with clearly identified results, responsibilities, timelines, resources, indicators, and follow-up mechanisms.
Education requirement: Advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in Communication, Journalism, International Relations, Development Studies, or related fields. Two years of additional relevant work experience that was gained after obtaining a bachelor’s degree may be accepted in lieu of advanced degree. Experience required:A minimum of five years of relevant, progressively responsible, professional work experience in digital communications, external relations, writing and editing (or equivalent fields), of which at least two years involve managing website content and digital communication channels, is required.Language requirements: Fluency in English is required. Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
