The communications Officer is responsible to develop and implement DFAM’s communication strategy, S/He reports on the divisional goals, objectives, results and priorities as well as supports the same for the Operations Community of Practice. The incumbent networks and collaborates closely with the DFAM senior management team to ensure continuity’s and relevance communication of key initiatives, preparing the relevant communication products and channel to reach the relevant audience. The incumbent will be responsible for multiple communications output, managing engagement strategies and content on DFAM’s digital channels.The impact of the role is significant to support the Division of Financial and Administrative Management’s and the Comptroller’s implementation of the divisional communication strategy as well as that of the global operations functions to ensure effective and timely communication of key initiatives, policies, procedures, and results. Inaccurate or delayed reporting could also impact the achievement of the goals and objectives of other UNICEF divisions relying on DFAM.
