UNICEF Skopje is looking for a national individual consultant to work on advancing environment and climate change education in ECEC and VET curricula and teacher professional development. The duration of this consultancy is two years with total of 400 working days engagement. This is home based consultancy.
The purpose of this national consultancy is to provide technical and coordination support to the MoES and other national stakeholders in advancing the national learning assessment agenda, with a particular focus on school-level competency-based summative assessment reform. This support will directly contribute to strengthening assessment systems in alignment with competency-based education (CBE) principles, as defined by national policy and the IsDB/GPE Phase II project.
The 2025 Sudan ebolavirus outbreak in Uganda, though limited to 14 cases, affected multiple districts including Kampala, raising serious public health concerns. UNICEF’s Level 2 emergency response was activated, warranting an evaluation as per its 2023 Evaluation Policy.
This evaluation will assess the effectiveness of the response, coordination with partners, and community engagement. It will generate actionable insights to strengthen future outbreak preparedness and ensure accountability for resources mobilized.
