The UNICEF West and Central Africa Regional Office is looking for a Regional Adviser Adolescence and Youth Coordinate with a team of professionals to achieve the goals of UNICEF Strategic Plan in the area of Adolescent and Youth Programming.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Deputy Regional Director for West and Central Africa, the programme associate supports the section by carrying out a range of programme support functions to help develop, implement and monitor their region, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations. The Programme Associate works in close collaboration with a range of staff in the RO, external partners and agency counterparts in support of programme design and delivery. S/He provides regular feedback on the status of projects through monitoring milestones and advises on improvements to keep activities on track.
Under the guidance of the Regional Chief of Programme and Planning, in coordination with the Deputy Regional Director, the Budget Officer contributes is responsible for budget management, including monitoring and financial reporting, with a focus on programmes, including the Emergency section. The post will also provide Secretariat support to the LACRO Budget Advisory Group, jointly with the Budget Officer from Operations.
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Chief of Field Operations and Emergencies, and in close collaboration with the Head of Sections (HoS) and cholera focal points for Health, Social and Behavioural Change (SBC) and WASH, the incumbent will be responsible for UNICEF Mozambique’s cholera response portfolio.
