UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office is seeking an individual consultant to to support a multi-country Digital Health initiative spanning Cambodia, Lao PDR, Mongolia, the Philippines, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, PNG, Fiji, Kiribati, and the Solomon Islands. This initiative is dedicated to UNICEF’s initiatives in strengthening the digital health and immunization systems in these countries. The consultant plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, implementation, and impact of "Digital Health System for Infectious Diseases Control" project portfolio, ultimately contributing to the improvement of healthcare delivery and outcomes in the 10 implementing countries.
UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office is seeking an individual consultant to offer data science, engineering and provide senior stakeholder, communications and project management support for the activities of EAPRO’s Frontier Data Lab for activities related to GAVI/ Climate Change / Emergencies and WASH. This work is fundamental to the outcomes and outputs of EAP RO’s RAM and is related to the support of the CPD process. Under the guidance of EAPRO’s Regional T4D Manager, the consultant will collaborate closely with regional T4D and program teams, as well as T4D, data, and program teams based in country offices throughout the East Asia and Pacific region and in the future, the wider Asia Pacific Region.

Objectif général : Opérationnaliser la décentralisation des services déconcentrés (Directions Régionales et les Services Préfectoraux du ministère de l’Action Humanitaire, de la Solidarité et de la Réconciliation Nationale (MAHSRN).
The purpose of this consultancy is to support the Ministry of Health (MoH) of Mozambique in developing comprehensive training modules and supporting documents in line with the updated national guidelines on the management of child acute malnutrition and nutritional oedema. These materials will be used to train health professionals and ensure the proper implementation of the revised protocols. Once the training modules and supporting documents are completed and approved by the Ministry of Health, the consultant will liaise with the relevant academic institutions in the country to ensure that the new materials are integrated in the academic curriculum of Health and Nutrition courses.
The consultant will work closely with the Nutrition Department and the extended PRN Technical Group (GT-PRN) to ensure alignment with national health strategies and international standards, particularly the updated 2023 WHO guidelines.
In addition, during the review of the PRN national guidelines the national consultant will be responsible for pre-testing the instruments, materials and job aids and conduct the review of the M&E and logistics chapters of the PRN guidelines. The pre-testing of materials will take place in selected health facilities in the provinces of Cabo Delgado, Nampula, Zambezia, Sofala and Maputo.
