Under the supervision and guidance of the Deputy Regional Director for West and Central Africa, the programme associate supports the section by carrying out a range of programme support functions to help develop, implement and monitor their region, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations. The Programme Associate works in close collaboration with a range of staff in the RO, external partners and agency counterparts in support of programme design and delivery. S/He provides regular feedback on the status of projects through monitoring milestones and advises on improvements to keep activities on track.
As People and Culture (PC) Specialist, you will be part of the regional People and Culture team in the East Asia and Pacific Regional Office in Bangkok, Thailand. Under the supervision and guidance of the Regional Chief of People and Culture, you will support Country Offices in the region and sections in the Regional Office in managing people effectively and building a conducive working environment for employees. You will also take the lead in some technical workstreams in people and culture management in the region. As People and Culture Specialist, you will be expected to carry out the responsibilities independently, with minimal oversight, to deliver the results in accordance with the vision set forward by the leadership of the office and the global People and Culture function.
The WASH Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the WASH programming process, through the application of theoretical and practical technical skills in researching, collecting, analyzing and presenting programme information while learning organizational rules, regulations and procedures to support the development, implementation and monitoring of the WASH output results of the Regional Programme, focused on technical assistance, knowledge management, capacity building, partnership and resource mobilization.
