The Emergency WASH specialist will be under the overall guidance of the Emergency Coordinator and technical supervision of Chief WASH who is accountable for the development, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of UNICEF’s WASH emergency response. The emergency specialist will oversee activities and results related to safeguard and improve public health of the affected population by ensuring access to safe and climate resilient drinking water, excreta disposal and promoting safe hygiene practices, ensuring overall efficiency, effectiveness, and delivery of results in accordance with UNICEF’s Core Commitment for Children in Emergencies (CCCs) and national and international humanitarian standards. The Specialist will especially ensure close follow up of WASH infrastructure (contracts) and soft activities from design to implementation and commissioning.
The Driver, at the G-2 level, provides reliable and safe driving services, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol whilst ensuring compliance with local driving rules and regulations.
This individual consultancy willassess current financial management practices in the South Sudan Education sector to identify areas for strengthening and contribute to development and approval of a roadmap to enhance Public Financial Management (PFM) within the Ministry of Education and General Instruction (MoGEI), laying out specific activities to address key bottlenecks.
