UNICEF Czech Republic RRO is looking for a qualified National consultant to develop a gender-responsive and disability inclusive approach for Cesty program.
As Nutrition Manager, P-4, East Jerusalem, State of Palestine, you will support the Chief in managing the nutrition section, contributing to innovation and knowledge management. You will be responsible for developing, preparing, and managing complex, key and integrated nutrition programmes. You will provide authoritative technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of concrete and sustainable results in maternal, infant and child nutrition programmes/projects. This is carried out according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology (RBM), as well as UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance, and accountability framework.
The Consultant will apply technical skills to manage, sustain and scale U-Report and IoGT, and analyse results to communicate findings to stakeholders, including children and youth. The Consultant will be expected to have the skills to engage with youth digitally and in person, such as with GBem clubs, to extend the U-Report community on the ground as well as the digital platform, as well as to engage with Goverment, partners and UNICEF colleagues. In collaboration with Social and Behaviour Change and Communication and Advocacy colleagues, the Consultant will work across UNICEF’s education, child protection, health, nutrition and WASH sections to engage the relevant platforms on priority areas of work and strategic moments for maximum impact.
Join UNICEF as an International Consultant to support the adaptation of the 2023 WHO guideline on the prevention and management of wasting and nutritional oedema (acute malnutrition) in infants and children under 5 years to the Syrian context. You will contribute to the promotion of children’s rights in Syria, by 1. Reviewing the current national CMAM guideline to identify strengths and implementation gaps. 2. Based on the implementation gap analysis from task 1 above, conducting a stakeholder meeting to adapt the 2023 WHO guidelines to the Syrian context. 3. Updating the existing CMAM implementation tools including registers, patient cards, monitoring and reporting tools, training materials in alignment with the updated CMAM guideline.
