The Officer will provide technical and coordination support to integrate climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and humanitarian–development linkages into national child protection systems. The assignment will contribute to evidence generation, systems strengthening, and preparedness efforts that reduce inequalities, protect vulnerable children, and enhance the resilience of social welfare and child protection services in Ghana. This context, this consultancy will provide services to UNICEF for 10 months, with monthly deliverables, to map and structure opportunities for public policies, government financing, and STI instruments (including the Partnership Agreement for Research, Development, and Innovation – APPD&I/APPDI), as well as incorporating scientific forums as levers for mobilizing partnerships in favor of innovations focused on children and adolescents.
The Digital Impact Assistant performs procedural and some specialized activities of UNICEF’s Digital Systems, which include desktop administration and server operations. Specialized activities typically pertain to the installation and routine configuration of ICT system components and user orientation.
This position will contribute to the wider objective of strengthening data management and data use at country level as well as building capacity of national governments/immunization programmes to forecast demand and optimize supply chain processes as outlined above.
